Temp Research Admin

The staff will support the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) in conducting literature review to inform TLC faculty and members of the latest trends in educational neuroscience. The successful candidate will also be supporting the running of the SUSS Educational Research Symposium (SERS) 2021.

As part of the TLC team, the successful candidate is expected to support the Centre’s activities including the following:

  1. Conduct Literature Review
  • Conduct literature review, research review to inform latest trends in Science of Learning (SoL) and Educational Neuroscience
  • Manage engagement with partners and other collaborators in the community
  1. Support the planning and execution of SERS 2021
  • Work with various stakeholders to organize SERS 2021
  • Support the running of SERS for its smooth and successful completion
  1. Support TLC’s events
  • Support and/or lead TLC events and initiatives
  • Undertake secondary appointments, duties or projects that may be assigned by Reporting Officer

Job requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or fields that are related to Neuroscience. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Experience in academic writing (e.g. dissertation and/or literature review)
  • Excellent written skills
  • Strong communication skills to engage different stakeholders across the university
  • Ability to manage different, interrelated tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Keen and enthusiastic about learning
