Temp Staff (Convocation) - Alumni Relations

We are looking for temporary staffs to support the Alumni Relations department with the Convocation event at the Suntec Convention Centre.
 

Job Description

  1. Preparation and Setup:
    • Organizing and arranging gifts according to the distribution plan.
    • Ensuring all gifts are properly packed and sorted (there may be cases where one is required to carry some boxes containing gifts from the storage to distribution area; with a trolley)
  2. Distribution:
    • Handing out gifts to graduates in an orderly manner.
    • Verifying recipient details to ensure accurate distribution.
  3. Coordination:
    • Working closely with the event coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicating with other staff members to address any issues that arise.
  4. Customer Service:
    • Providing assistance and information to graduates
    • Handling any special requests or concerns with professionalism.
  5. Post-Event Duties:
    • Assisting with the cleanup and packing up of leftover gifts.
    • Providing feedback on the distribution process for future improvements.
  6. Ad-hoc Duties:
    • To assist the team in simple ad-hoc assignments when required
       

Job Requirements

  • Possess O level qualification and above
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Basic Excel knowledge as staff is required to check and update records
  • Friendly, approachable and a team player
     

Commitment Period: 8 and 9 October 2024, 9am to 9pm
