Temp Staff (Finance) - Student Life

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) administers full-time and part-time undergraduate degree and graduate programmes.

 

SUSS Student Life (under Student SUcceSS Centre) aims to create an enabling culture that empowers students to maximise their personal potential. This is realised by supporting students to strengthen their well-being, and helping students develop their unique potential to contribute actively to SUSS and the wider community. SUSS Student Life also organises and implements student leadership, onboarding, inclusion and well-being programmes for the personal and professional development of students.

 

The successful candidate will be a key member of the team to organise, implement and support various systems, processes and programmes helmed by the SUSS Student Life and Student SUcceSS Centre. We are looking for individuals who possess strong administrative and communication skills, and are passionate about the preparation and development of students. Candidates should be intellectually nimble; have an eye for detail as well as collaborative possibilities; and the ability to tackle challenging situations with finesse and determination. A strong passion for people development is also expected. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage administrative duties related to student life programmes, including supporting procurement processes, finance processing, data entry, budget tracking and budget reporting etc.
  • Support the administration and management of student life programmes and associated IT platforms.
  • Assist in process improvements for financial workflows.
  • Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder and above in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
  • Prior experience in finance or administrative roles will be an added advantage.
  • Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with a keen eye for details.
  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Need to be able to commit till at least 31 December 2025.
