Temp Staff - Resources and Scheduling
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department’s functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist to run clash check setup for eCR and AOO and course timetable.
- Gathering of course schedule information to ensure the collation is complete.
- Generate email triggering process to the respective schools on Re-sit Revision.
- Support room allocation planning for scheduling of classes.
- Verify the course clash generation and the uploaded class schedule by ensuring data accuracy
- Administer the course schedule verification process by identifying courses presenting for the first time but creation yet to be entered in SIMS
- Point-of-contact for associates with teaching appointment.
- Work closely with Associate Administration on teaching associates’ details and records.
- Liaise with HOPs/schools on teaching associate’s unavailability, change of teaching associate, rescheduling request, etc.
- Liaise with HOPs/schools on courses with lab scheduling and mobile computing requirement.
- Liaise with HOPs/schools on resit revision sessions.
- Maintain a customer oriented approach to support and assist teaching associates’ requests for teaching equipment required, rescheduling of class, prepare of class list upon request, etc.
- Liaise with HOPs/schools to forecast the ordering quantities for stationery request for classes.
- Liaise with HOPs/schools to gather the classroom conversion request for allocation purpose
- Liaise with CITS on the ad-hoc system issues pertaining to all the modules residing in RS Module.
- Liaise with SIM on room booking, teaching equipment requests and any other logistical requirement.
- Administer changes to course timetable.
- Perform the checking process on finalise timetable setup.
- Prepare department’s reports, example Timetable Report, Students’ Requests Report, etc.
Job Requirements:
- • Diploma or Degree holders with 1-2 years of working experience
- • Meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity
- • Able to multi-task effectively and possess project management skills
- • Good interpersonal skills
- • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative
- • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
